Frequently asked questions

Will large and small dogs be seated separately?

Dogs will have the opportunity to meet and interact before boarding. If our experts notice any concerns, we can adjust seating arrangements to address any potential risks and ensure everyone is safe and at ease.

Pet documentation

The movement of dogs within the EU is governed by Regulation (EU) No 576/2013:

1) Dogs must be identified with a microchip that complies with ISO 11784/11785 standards;

2) Dogs must be vaccinated against rabies with an inactivated vaccine;

3) An EU Pet Passport.

It's easy, right?

Breed-Specific Legislation. Some EU Member States have specific regulations or restrictions concerning certain dog breeds, often referred to as breed-specific legislation (BSL). These laws may prohibit or impose conditions on the ownership and movement of breeds considered dangerous. We will consult you free of charge on how to do this if your dog is on the list of destination countries. And we will help.

Do dogs need any special training before flying?

Leashes are all that’s needed. We also recommend using a harness instead of a collar. We understand that not every dog is eager to socialize, and that’s perfectly fine. If your dog prefers to keep their distance, we’ll discuss this with you and the other passengers before the flight to ensure everyone’s needs are met.

Is there a place for bathroom breaks during the flight?

Yes, there are designated relief spots outside each plane where your dog can take a final bathroom break before takeoff. If nature calls during the flight, we have emergency pads available in specific areas just for that purpose. But we also recommend giving your pup a good walk before takeoff and limiting food and water a few hours before the flight.

Before Takeoff

You’ll depart from a private terminal. When you arrive, we’ll take care of your passport and luggage while you relax, sip a drink, and meet fellow passengers and their four-legged companions.

Boarding Time

No chaos, no barking mayhem — we board one family at a time, starting from the back of the plane. That way, pets never have to walk past each other. Calm, controlled, and cozy.

Big dogs? No problem.

When you book, we ask for your dog’s size, weight, and breed. Then we create a custom seating plan so everyone has enough space — including the big boys and girls!

What about cats?

Cats travel in carriers for everyone’s safety. And the best part? No size restrictions on carriers. So your feline friend can stretch out in style.

How many pets can fly with me?

Bring up to 2 pets (under 23 kg each) or 1 pet (over 23 kg). Yes, that includes your Great Dane.

Arrival

When you land, customs comes to you. Your passport is checked on the plane. Our team scans your pet’s microchip and confirms their pre-approved papers.
